What: “Empathy-Driven Enforcement,” a system for getting people to follow the rules without threats or punishment. It is effective on all types of people, but is especially important for working with homeless individuals.
When: Friday, April 6, 2018 from 9am - Noon (It starts PROMPTLY at 9am)

About the trainer: Ryan Dowd is the Executive Director of Hesed House, one of the largest homeless shelters in Illinois. In addition, Ryan has trained thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations how to work more effectively with homeless individuals. He has conducted this training (or is scheduled to) in: California, Alaska, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Ohio, Maryland, Colorado, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa (and more).
